The first all Inclusive vacation I ever went on was spring break, senior year of college. I wasn’t sure about it at first, to be honest, but my roommates really wanted to go the all inclusive way so I decided to hop on board.
All inclusive vacations are awesome. They really are. If you want to go to a beautiful resort (most likely in the Caribbean) and sit on a white sand beach, and if you don’t really care to venture off at all, and are just looking to relax and eat and drink all day, then I absolutely recommend an all inclusive vacation.
However, even though I have a few all inclusive vacations under my belt, there are some pros and cons you should know about before you decide what type of vacation you are looking for. Continue reading
If you’ve read my blog at all, you know I’m a total travel (and food) junkie. And although I don’t pass up opportunities to travel anywhere, there are a few countries that are on my “must see before I die” list. For the most part, these 5 countries are always near the top.
I am grateful for the many opportunities I’ve had throughout my life to travel (19 countries at the age of 24 isn’t so bad). I’m even more grateful that I’ve been blessed enough to have actually lived in 3 of these amazing countries, and multiple regions throughout. However, sometimes I wonder if traveling so much has done me a disservice, because for me, there is no such thing as too much travel. Continue reading
I’ll admit it, working out is not something I always enjoy. Especially if it consists of running, not really going anywhere, on a treadmill. Time seems to stop and every second seems like an hour. There are times when I enjoy it. I’ll listen to my music, or watch the TV and actually forget I’m working out, but this is the exception, not the rule. Continue reading
There are very few networks on TV that I’d rather watch than Foodnetwork or Cooking Channel (except for maybe Bravo). And there are very few cooking personalities I’d rather watch than Nigella Lawson. It’s a tragedy that she and the Barefoot Contessa are both on at 4:30 PM (Eastern Standard time). I have finally given in to DVR-ing them both, so I no longer have to choose which one I’d rather watch. But Nigella is one of my favorites for many different reasons. Continue reading
